On June 15, 2024, the "Kamyki 2024" Off-Road Rally took place. Eltron has been supporting the organizers of this event for many years, and this year was no exception.
The event took place in a disused quarry in Boguszów-Gorce. Nearly 50 teams registered for the rally.
Teams were divided into three categories:
"Zmota" - no modifications were restricted. A safety cage was mandatory.
"Obrzyn" - all modifications were allowed, but the body between the A-pillar and the B-pillar had to be original (minor modifications, such as the absence of doors, were allowed). A safety cage was also mandatory.
"Seryjne" - for unmodified cars without external safety cages (but still looking like a stock vehicle). Modifications to the suspension, heavier bumpers and sills, roof racks, aggressive tire treads, and non-standard locks were allowed.
Traditionally, the use of winches powered by anything other than muscle power was prohibited in this rally, which sets it apart from other similar events in Poland. Therefore, creativity, planning, and team coordination were particularly important when reaching checkpoints.
A large number of spectators gathered at the most interesting points along the course, especially the timed section, to watch the competitors. The rally provided both participants and spectators with a great deal of excitement and a spectacular show presented by the machines battling the terrain.
