Diotec
Diotec was established in 1973, in Heitersheim, Germany. Initially, the Company was concerned with implementations work and distribution of electronic components. The rapid development of electronics in the 1970s encouraged the Company to launch its own production of semiconductor equipment. Soon thereafter, thanks to the top quality and the wide range of the products offered, Diotec became the market leader in semiconductor components in Europe. Apart from a factory in its home town of Heitersheim the Company currently owns plants in Slovenia (semiconductor bridges and power diodes), Slovakia (fast, Schottky and Zener diodes) and in Asia (standard and low signal diodes). All these are ISO 9001 certified to ensure the highest production standards. Since November 2003 the Company has been operating under the name Diotec Semiconductor AG.
