Lamina Semiconductors International (LAMINA SI) was established in 1996 as a spin-off from the semiconductor production division of Zakłady Elektroniczne Lamina S.A. in Piaseczno, Poland. As the sole Polish manufacturer of power semiconductor devices, LAMINA SI continues a tradition of semiconductor production in Poland spanning over three decades. Production commenced in the late 1960s based on proprietary technical developments. In the early 1970s, a license was acquired from the American company Westinghouse Electric Corp. Since then, the company has continuously developed designs and technologies for its products based on its own research, including a unique radiation technology for the production of fast devices. LAMINA SI is the only manufacturer of power semiconductor devices - diodes and thyristors - in Poland. The company's product range includes diodes (standard and fast), thyristors (standard, fast, and pulse), modular blocks, heat sinks, and mounting accessories. Production is based on advanced proprietary and licensed technologies, as mentioned above. All our products are characterized by the highest quality standards in the world, as confirmed by ISO 9001:2000 certification.
