Phoenix Contact
Phoenix Contact is a specialist in electric and electronic automation. Its product range covers terminal blocks, interfaces, connection solutions for printed circuit boards and devices, surge protection solutions and also the open industrial communication system INTERBUS. Phoenix Contact supplies its clients with over 20,000 components, devices and complete solutions offering them appropriate service programs. Established in 1923 Phoenix Contact currently employs about 6,000 workers worldwide. The Company’s headquarters are in Blomberg. Apart from production units the Blomberg facilities include the Company’s Board and main divisions: Construction & Development, Marketing, Sales, Logistics and Quality Control Divisions. Part of Phoenix Contact’s production takes place abroad. In Poland the Company owns a factory in Nowy Tomyśl. Opened in 1994, at first the plant operated under the name "PPE Wielkopolska". Today the factory is called "Phoenix Contact Wielkopolska" and employs over 600 people.
