In-Sight ViDi Read – Advanced Character Recognition (OCR)

With the ViDi Read tool, the In-Sight D900 easily recognizes even deformed or illegible markings. A ready-made font database means that the system can be used immediately after installation – all you need to do is set the reading area. ViDi Read can decode even unusual fonts that are illegible to standard OCR.

In-Sight ViDi Check – Accurate Assembly Inspection

The system reliably detects the presence of components and evaluates their correct assembly based on their location or reference layout. ViDi Check can be trained to recognize different components even if they appear at different angles or sizes.

In-Sight ViDi Detect – Complex Defect Detection

The ViDi Detect module learns what a correct component looks like, allowing it to identify deviations and defects, even if they are not previously known. It is ideal for quality control of surfaces and components with complex geometries.

Easy Application Creation with Spreadsheet

With a simple spreadsheet interface, users can quickly create Deep Learning applications without writing code. The system supports integration with communication protocols and I/O, and offers classic Cognex tools such as PatMax Redline™, reducing implementation time.

With an IP67 rating and modular design, the In-Sight D900 allows you to choose the right lens, lighting, filters, and covers. The built-in analytics engine is designed for fast production lines and demanding Deep Learning applications.

Application Development in the ViDi Environment

The In-Sight ViDi application configuration process takes place on a Windows computer with a GPU graphics card. Once the project has been created, it can be deployed to an In-Sight D900 device that supports ViDi software.
