Satellite channel routers offer the following features and benefits:
- Allow satellite signals from a rooftop dish to be relayed easily and economically to multiple receivers around the home, or throughout an apartment block
- Can combine up to 8 signals on a single cable
- By combining several devices, a corresponding number of sub-bands may be generated and multiplexed together
