ST's data encryption SoCs are hardware solutions that embed an encryption/decryption engine.  They perform all of the cryptographic calculations (assymmetric and symmetric) on-chip, without additional loading of the system CPU.

This permits a solution that:

  • Outperforms software encryption solutions, in both speed (bitrate) and power consumption
  • Is highly flexible in terms of end-application
  • Resists attacks that use software and/or instrumentation monitors
