ST's CD servo and audio playback controllers are single-chip solutions that provide the front-end functions of a compact-disc player together with connectivity for music storage devices (USB, SD, iPod) and the playback capabilities for the most popular digital audio formats (AAC, MP3, WMA).
They include actuator control and processing of the pickup head signal to generate analog and digital signals, audio decoding features and FAT16/FAT32 file system management.
