On call 24 hours
Low idling losses are important in cases where the power supply is essentially on 24-hour call, but used only rarely. Examples include motors for blinds or door openers.

UPS and diode
An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) version is available that corresponds to the 4.2 A power supply unit. STEP UPS combines an electronic switchover unit and a LiPo-based rechargeable battery module in the same housing. Featuring the same design, STEP DIODE decouples redundant solutions.

High degree of efficiency
The ratio of the output real power to the input real power is anything up to 89% and therefore considerably higher than comparable devices. This means that STEP POWER power supplies convert less electrical energy into undesired heat energy.

STEP POWER power supplies offer flexible mounting: they can either be snapped onto the DIN rail or screwed onto level surfaces.
When mounting on level surfaces, lugs integrated in the housing eliminate the need for additional mounting material.
