Excessive speeds harbor dangers for people and machinery. Using the PSRmotion speed and downtime monitors from Phoenix Contact, you can shut down quickly and safely in the event of an emergency.
You can easily integrate the PSR-RSM4 speed and downtime monitor into your system, thanks to the free intuitive PSR-CONF-WIN software. You can set the speeds and sensor types in the graphical user interface with just a few clicks of the mouse.
All common incremental encoders, linear measuring systems or proximity switches can be used for sensor connection. If motor feedback systems are already present, we can provide you with pre-assembled cable adapters.
With the PSR-SSM downtime monitor, you can, for example, reliably control a safety door, which should only open when the spindle has stopped.
The downtime monitors do not have to be configured. Their signals are received by standard pulse generators.
