The Bluetooth converter can be used to convert serial interfaces such as USB or RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 to the license-free Bluetooth wireless standard. You can also use the converter as an inexpensive alternative to slip rings, drag chains or fieldbus cables, for example. Your advantage: use the Bluetooth converter as an access point and call control data via notebooks or PDAs.

Your advantages

  • Secure data transmission, thanks to password protection, encryption, plus fixed and invisible device pairing
  • Parallel operation with other wireless systems due to the adaptive frequency hopping method
  • Wireless path diagnostics using integrated bar graphs and two digital outputs
  • Installation of parallel wireless paths by cross-wiring the 24 V DC supply and the RS-485 interface
  • Local configuration via USB interface, without separate power supply unit

Applications for Bluetooth Serial
