Multiplexers for HART signals

Image

HART multiplexers from Phoenix Contact are a modern solution for digitally connecting HART field devices to higher-level systems such as computers, OPC servers or process management software. They offer online configuration, remote diagnostics and continuous documentation of operating parameters and device statuses.

HART transfer board - MACX MCR-S-MUX-TB - 2308124

The HART transfer board is used to operate the MACX-MCR-S-MUX HART multiplexer. The signals from the HART-compatible signal converters are applied to the terminal strip of the transfer board where they are then transmitted to the multiplexer via an FLK.

Features of the Phoenix Contact HART multiplexer system:

  • Support for up to 128 multiplexers on a single communication bus,
  • 32 HART channels per multiplexer,
  • Communication via RS-485 interface using an OPC HART server or other software,
  • Galvanic isolation of power supply, bus, and signal channels,
  • No influence of HART transmission on the measurement signal – full parallelism,
  • Support for Ex and non-Ex devices via HART connection panels,
  • Power supply directly from the connection panel.

Phoenix Contact HART multiplexers allow full control over field devices, reduce service response times and simplify the operation of I&C infrastructure. They are ideal for installations where fast diagnostics, secure connections and reliable documentation are required.
