VARISTAR NET / NET Plus cabinets are a perfect solution to the problems with cable management, and are specially designed for 19” cable ducting.The difference between VARISTAR NET and VARISTAR NET Plus is that the VARISTAR NET type has only one 19” plane, and VARISTAR NET Plus features two 19” planes. To make cable management more intuitive, the entire cabinet is divided into 4 zones, so that the cables are guided and fixed in an orderly manner. Zone 1 is located at the front of the components housed in the 19” assembly plane. Patch cables are run horizontally between the distribution panels. Zone 2 is located on the left and right side of 19” assembly plane, and patch cables are run vertically between the various components in the guides. In Zone 3, which extends laterally through the cabinet width behind the 19' plane, data cables are run from the cable entry in the top or base plate to the rear of the distribution panel. Zone 4, on the rear of the cabinet, forms an alternative to zone 3 for 600 mm wide cabinets or in situations where, owing to its location, a cabinet is not accessible from the rear. Generally, the holes in the top cover in zone 4 are used for active heat dissipation by internal fans. This is necessary when the cabinet has active elements next to the passive components.

Standard VARISTAR NET / NET Plus cabinets are supported by ‘Slim-Line’ frame with static load-carrying capacity of 400 kg or “Heavy-Duty” of up to 800 kg. Available heights: 24…47 U (1200…2200 mm), widths: 600/800 mm and depth: 600…1200 mm in two versions – desk-top cabinet (side panels included) and cabinet for side-by-side mounting (without side panels, which should be ordered separately, as necessary) – are available in the following colour combinations – frame, top cover and base plate in RAL7021, and side panels in RAL7035.
