The series of VARISTAR EMC cabinets was specially designed for general use in EMC protection of electronic devices which are to be mounted in cabinets based on the 19' standard. Standard VARISTAR EMC cabinets are supported by ‘Slim-Line’ frame with static load-carrying capacity of 400 kg. Available heights: 29…47 U (1400…2200 mm), widths: 600/800 mm and depth: 600 / 800 / 1000 mm. Cabinets are available in two colour combinations: entirely in RAL7021 or frame, top cover and base plate – RAL7021, and side panels – RAL7035.

VARISTAR EMC cabinets can be divided into the following three main types:

• VARISTAR EMC IP55 shielded up to 60 dB at 1 GHz, and 40 dB at 3 GHz (tested to IEC61587-3), plain steel front door four-point bolt serves as a lock, screw-fixed side panels to maintain a high degree of protection (IP), the maximum static load-carrying capacity is up to 400 kg, Degree of protection IP55.

•  VARISTAR EMC with perforated doors shielded up to 40 dB at 1 GHz (tested to IEC61587-3), perforated front and rear doors, four-point bolt serves as a lock, air throughput of 78%, the maximum static load-carrying capacity is up to 400 kg.

• VARISTAR EMC with fan top coverb shielded up to 50 dB at 1 GHz (tested to IEC61587-3), plain steel front and rear doors, four-point bolt serves as a lock, Top fan cover with 3 or 6 fans can be mounted, perforated base plate with cable ducting, the maximum static load-carrying capacity is up to 400 kg.
