Plug-in units serve as extension of front panels. Plug-in units offer both the possibility to close the subrack or case open space, and various functionalities, such as alignment of installed boards, protection, etc. Wide range of dimensions and handles and compatibility with CompactPCI, VMEbus / VME64x, Multibus® II in accordance with IEC 60297 additionally increase the application possibilities of the plug-in units. Plug-in units are available with unshielded or EMC shielded versions of the front panels installed.
