Motor load monitors


DOLD load measurement modules, available from ELTRON, are used to monitor active power, power factor (cosϕ), motor loads and detect reverse power in single-phase and three-phase systems. They enable effective prevention of overloads, improved energy efficiency and increased operational safety of devices.

Depending on the model, DOLD modules enable the measurement of currents up to 100 A, power monitoring up to 37 kW, as well as cos ϕ control, which allows for the detection of irregularities in the operation of electric drives.

The ELTRON offer includes, among others:

  • General load measurement modules – such as MK 9397N or BH 9097, dedicated to systems with power ratings of 8–37 kW,
  • Advanced relays with analogue measurement output – e.g. BH 9098, which transmit current or voltage signals to monitoring systems,
  • Power factor measurement modules cosϕ – in compact versions (MK 9065, IK 9065) or with a larger measuring range up to 100 A (SL 9065CT),
  • Reverse power detectors – such as BH 9140 or RP 9140, which detect the direction of energy flow, important in systems with distributed generation, among others,
  • Specialised solutions for industrial electric motors – e.g. BA 9067, for load assessment and drive optimisation.

These devices are used in industrial automation, HVAC, power systems and wherever continuous monitoring of energy consumption and load operating parameters is important.

DOLD load measurement modules offered by ELTRON are characterised by high precision, a variety of output configurations and wide scalability – from compact 17.5 mm enclosures to solutions for complex installations.
