Stepper Motor Drivers

Autonics stepper motor controllers

Autonics stepper motor controllers are advanced systems responsible for the precise control of stepper motor movement. They receive pulses from external controllers, such as motion controllers, and convert them into appropriate currents that activate individual motor windings. This enables accurate control of position, speed and acceleration.

The range includes both new-generation controllers and discontinued models (marked as Discontinue), which makes it easier to upgrade older systems. Autonics offers high-precision 5-phase solutions with a wide range of operating parameters, including the MD5-HD14, MD5-HF14 and MD2U series.

Key features of Autonics controllers:

• Support for 5-phase stepper motors

• Supply voltage: DC or AC (depending on the series)

• Compact size and easy installation

• Microstep modes – increased smoothness of operation

• Thermal and overload protection

• Compatible with Autonics motion controllers or other PLC controllers

• Interfaces: pulse (step/dir), analogue or digital

Available series:

– MD5-HD14-2X / MD5-HD14-3X

– MD5-HD14

– MD5-HF14

– MD5-HF28

– MD5-ND14

– MD2U-MD20

– MD2U-ID20

– MD5-MF14 (discontinued)
