PRDACM inductive sensors – increased range and resistance to welding spatter

PRDACM inductive sensors are a specialised solution for welding applications where standard proximity sensors are not sufficiently resistant to harsh operating conditions. Models in this series feature an enlarged detection zone, a Teflon (PTFE) coated housing and an M12 connector for easy installation and maintenance.

The Teflon coating effectively protects the device from damage caused by welding spatter and high temperatures. The dedicated integrated circuit from Autonics used in the PRDACM ensures exceptional resistance to electromagnetic interference, making this sensor a reliable solution in demanding industrial environments.

Key features of the PRDACM:

  • Extended detection range – up to 2× greater than standard models
  • Teflon-coated housing (PTFE) – resistant to temperature and welding spatter
  • Built-in M12 connector – quick and convenient maintenance
  • High interference immunity thanks to the Autonics integrated circuit
  • Overvoltage, overcurrent and reverse polarity protection
  • A durable alternative to splash-proof limit switches
  • IP67 protection rating – reliable operation in dusty or humid environments

The PRDACM series has been designed for use in welding automation and heavy industry, where sensors must withstand extreme operating conditions.
