Ensure a high level of availability and productivity for your system: decouple power supply units connected in parallel and monitor redundancy. We have the suitable solution for you, also with ACB (auto current balancing) technology, and available exclusively from Phoenix Contact.

Your advantages

  • Corresponding functionality and design, tailored to power supply units from Phoenix Contact
  • Consistent redundancy up to the load, thanks to two positive output terminal blocks per module
  • Service life is doubled – ORING modules with ACB technology ensure symmetrical capacity
  • Save 70% energy: ORING modules decouple with MOSFETs instead of diodes

Which redundancy module do you require?

A redundant power supply is the result of the parallel connection of two power supply units. This system can be optimized: in order to increase system availability, the power supplies must be decoupled. Depending on the application, it may also be worthwhile to monitor the redundancy.

Choose your solution for decoupling two power supplies operated in parallel.

  • QUINT DIODE with approvals for use in potentially explosive areas, STEP DIODE, and UNO DIODE decouple power supplies operated in parallel.
  • TRIO DIODE for monitoring the power supply unit voltages and the wiring up to the redundancy module
  • QUINT ORING for monitoring the power supply unit voltages, the wiring, decoupling, and the load current
