DOLD expansion modules, available from ELTRON, enable flexible expansion of safety systems for industrial machines and equipment. These reliable components are used wherever it is necessary to increase the number of safety outputs or adapt the system architecture to more complex applications.
Thanks to their modular design and full compatibility with relays and other DOLD modules, the system can be easily scaled without changing the existing control logic. The expansion modules transmit output signals from the main safety module to subsequent actuator circuits, maintaining signal integrity and full functional safety.
These solutions are particularly useful for machines with multiple emergency stop zones, multiple drives or a complex output structure. DOLD expansion modules support the implementation of SIL 3 and PL e levels, complying with standards such as EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061.
Thanks to their compact design, DIN rail mounting and simple connection to other modules, these products are easy to implement in both new installations and when modernising existing systems.
