Recently, we had the opportunity to organize a motorsport day at AMS Primary School in Wrocław.
On that day, our boss, a racing driver with many years of experience, achievements, and a wealth of knowledge, visited the primary school with several of our colleagues.
However, our colleagues did not arrive in ordinary cars. The school was visited by rare sports cars such as Porsche and Ferrari... The aim of the visit was to provide children with positive emotions and a dose of knowledge about motoring and motorsport.
The children gathered in large numbers and had the opportunity to see rare sports cars on the streets, sit inside them, and ask their burning questions. The boss told the children about each car, the challenges of being a rally driver, and the emotions that accompany racing. Many children listened to the lecture with curiosity, persistently asking for details.
However, the biggest attraction of the event was the opportunity to see the vehicles from the inside. Children had the chance to sit behind the wheel and feel like real rally drivers for a moment. They were also introduced to the sounds of the mufflers and the roar of the engines of the presented cars. The excitement and joy on the faces of those present were evident.
The event proved to be a pleasant break from the difficulties of everyday learning and may have sparked a new passion in a few of the participants.
We thank AMS Primary School in Wrocław for their hospitality and hope that in the future some of the children will also feel a passion for motorsport.
