The cutter uses a twin-bladed, self-sharpening rotary cutter, which achieves high cutting rates and short cycle times. A DC motor coupled with a multistage reduction gear ensure powerful drive and comparatively low wattage while ensuring compact size. The wear-free cutting action is initiated by a start signal and continues as a fully automated process until the rotary cutter comes to a braked standstill in the home position.
