Time delay modules from DOLD, available from ELTRON, are reliable devices designed for precise control of time sequences in machine safety systems. They allow you to define when safety functions are activated or deactivated depending on the set delay time, enabling you to maintain full control over the process.
These modules are used in situations where, from a functional or technical point of view, it is necessary, for example, to delay the shutdown of a drive, sequentially activate safety zones or temporarily maintain the output signal after an emergency switch has been activated. In this way, it is possible to minimise the risk of emergency stops without compromising the level of protection.
DOLD time modules are available in various configurations – with switch-on delay, switch-off delay or with a temporary restart function. They meet the requirements of standards EN ISO 13849 and IEC 62061, achieving safety levels PL e and SIL 3. Compatibility with other DOLD modules allows for easy integration into the safety systems of modern machines and production lines.
