DOLD safety mat control modules, available from ELTRON, are specialised devices used in hazardous area protection systems. Their task is to detect the presence of a person in an area protected by a safety mat and immediately activate the machine or device shutdown procedure.
These devices are an important part of machine safety systems that comply with the Machinery Directive and applicable European standards, such as EN ISO 13849 and IEC 61508. The use of mats and associated modules allows for effective protection of entry areas, working areas and places at risk of collision with moving machine parts.
DOLD relay modules ensure stable and trouble-free operation thanks to the use of high-quality components, resistance to electromagnetic interference and the possibility of integration with other safety system components. The available variants allow for the configuration of output parameters, mat status monitoring and system diagnostics.
