Fast diodes

DIOTEC fast diodes have been designed for applications where short switching times and stable operation at higher frequencies are crucial. With switching times ranging from 150 to 500 ns, these components are ideal for use in switching power supplies, inverters, voltage converters, motor controllers and electronic devices requiring fast voltage switching in rectifier circuits.

Fast rectifier diodes are available in a wide range of reverse voltages – from 50 V to 2000 V – and forward currents from 0.5 A to 20 A. The typical forward voltage is between 0.82 and 1.8 V, which maintains energy efficiency and reduces power losses in the system.

The diodes are designed for various types of mounting – both surface mount (SMD) and through-hole (THT) – and come in a variety of packages, such as SOD-123FL, DO-213AA (MiniMelf), DO-41, DO-201, SMA, SMB, SMC, TO-220, D5.4x7. 5 or TO-263AB (D2PAK). This makes it easy to match the component to the requirements of a specific project, regardless of space or environmental constraints.

DIOTEC fast diodes are used in:

  • switching power supplies (SMPS),
  • DC/DC controllers and converters,
  • reactive power compensation systems,
  • motor drives and automation systems,
  • charging and emergency power supply systems.

The products in this series combine high quality, stable operating parameters and compliance with current technical standards.
