Autonics SFL / SFL-A safety curtains – operator protection in line with the highest standards, available at ELTRON

The SFL / SFL-A series are Autonics safety curtains designed to protect personnel in potentially hazardous areas – near machines, production lines and automated workstations. These devices use Autonics area sensor and mapping sensor technology to effectively secure access to hazardous areas. The curtains meet the stringent requirements of international safety standards, making them a reliable choice for industrial applications.

They are available in two variants:

• SFL – standard version with basic protective functionality,
• SFL-A – extended version, offering additional features and greater configuration options.

SFL/SFL-A safety curtains available from ELTRON comply with the following standards:

Type 4 ESPE (AOPD), SIL3, SIL CL3, Category 4, PL e, CE, UL Listed, S-Mark, ensuring the highest level of work safety.

Available detection modes:

• Ø14 mm – finger detection (height 144–1008 mm),
• Ø20 mm – hand detection (183–1023 mm),
• Ø30 mm – arm detection (1025–1850 mm).

The curtains allow serial connection of up to 3 sets with support for up to 300 light beams (cascade technology, Autonics patent), which allows even very complex work systems to be secured without an excessive number of components.

• Manual and automatic reset, EDM, muting, override,
• Self-diagnostics with interference protection and ambient light detection (patent),
• Short/long detection range mode,
• NPN / PNP output switch,
• 7-segment display and LED for operation monitoring,

• 4 AUX/lamp outputs for independent applications,
• IP65 / IP67 protection rating, certified according to IEC standard (patent),
• Easy installation using a patented mounting bracket.
