Autonics SFDL-SDK safety bolts – additional protection for service areas, available at ELTRON
SFDL-SDK are mechanical bolts for Autonics safety switches, designed for use with the SFDL series. Their main task is to protect personnel from accidental confinement in a hazardous area, e.g. inside a protective fence, during service, maintenance or start-up work.
Thanks to the mechanical lock function, the bolt prevents the machine from starting while personnel are in the protected area. This simple yet highly effective solution significantly increases work safety, especially in complex machine systems where there is a risk of entering a closed area without completely stopping the process.
SFDL-SDK bolts available from ELTRON are designed for mounting on 40 × 40 mm aluminium profiles, ensuring easy integration with typical industrial fencing and guarding systems. Their design is resistant to intensive use, and installation does not require complicated wiring or power supply, making them an economical and easy-to-implement solution.
