Autonics SFDL safety door switches with locking – access protection for industrial machines, available at ELTRON

The SFDL series are Autonics safety door switches with locking, which provide effective access control to hazardous areas in industrial machines and equipment. These devices not only detect when safety doors are open or closed, but also physically lock them during machine operation when there is a potential hazard to the operator.

Thanks to a separate activator and a rotating head that can be set in one of 5 positions, it is possible to adjust the key insertion direction to the specific machine design – from the top or from the sides. This significantly facilitates the integration of the switch with various types of guards and doors. There are as many as 6 types of activators available, allowing for flexible adaptation of the solution to the application.

SFDL switches available from ELTRON come in versions with screw connectors and M12 connectors, which translates into easy installation and maintenance. Selected models are equipped with a manual release function – using a release button and emergency keys (standard cross or special), which is important for testing or in emergency situations.

The robust metal head ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage, and the limited heating of the electromagnet allows for safe and stable operation. The devices comply with the most important safety standards, including IEC/EN 60947-5-1, EN ISO 14119, GS-ET-15, UL 508 and have the S-Mark designation.

Autonics SFDL door safety switches available at ELTRON are designed for use in packaging and processing machines, machine tools and wherever effective protection of access to hazardous areas is required.
