ARD-A series

ARD-A series analogue remote I/O modules by Autonics (Remote I/O with terminal block)

The ARD-A series are analogue remote input/output modules by Autonics. They enable the expansion of control systems and communication with automation devices via DeviceNet. The modules ensure high accuracy of analogue signal reading thanks to the use of a differential measurement method, which increases resistance to electromagnetic interference and stability in industrial environments.

Up to 63 expansion units can be connected to a single master module. Power and communication can be provided via a single transmission cable, which simplifies installation and allows the system to be scaled without significant costs. ARD-A modules support a wide range of analogue signals (0–5 VDC, 1–5 VDC, 0–10 VDC, –5–5 VDC, –10–10 VDC, 4–20 mA, 0–20 mA) with values scalable from –28,000 to 28,000, allowing them to be adapted to many technological processes.

The devices feature diagnostic functions, signal filtering, hysteresis, peak/minimum value detection, power and communication monitoring, and ESD protection. DIN rail-mounted versions or versions equipped with screw connectors are available.
