Autonics EPM50 multi-turn absolute encoder – Ø50 mm, 23-bit precision, SSI and parallel outputs
The EPM50 series are Autonics multi-turn absolute encoders with a diameter of Ø50 mm, designed for precise positioning in confined spaces. The compact design, optional parallel or serial (SSI) outputs and 23-bit resolution (10 bits per revolution and 13 bits multi-turn) make these encoders ideal for robotics, precision automation and advanced drive systems.
Additional features such as zero data reset, position memory in case of power failure (up to ±90°), programmable rotation directions and over-range alarm (OVF) significantly increase the functionality of the device. Models with parallel output are also equipped with a signal lock function for even safer use in industrial applications.
