Autonics E58S incremental sinusoidal encoders – high precision with a tapered shaft

The Autonics E58S series are advanced incremental rotary encoders that generate an analogue sinusoidal signal, amplified by a precision operational amplifier (op-amp). This solution allows for smooth and highly accurate speed and position control, making this series ideal for demanding servo drive applications and positioning systems.

Distinguishing features of the E58S series:

  • Tapered shaft – increased stability and precise mounting
  • Sine wave output signal – supported by an op-amp for minimal distortion
  • Phases A, B, C, D – enable absolute position calculation and signal multiplication
  • High precision – position adjustment with a resolution of over 10,000 pulses
  • Power supply: 5 VDC ±5%
