PRDAT/PRDAWT Series

PRDAT / PRDAWT inductive sensors – increased range and resistance to welding spatter

Autonics PRDAT / PRDAWT series inductive sensors are specialised devices designed for use in demanding industrial environments, particularly where welding spatter, high temperatures and strong electromagnetic interference are present. Thanks to their Teflon (PTFE) coating, these sensors provide effective protection against spatter build-up and mechanical and thermal damage. Their compact design and high reliability make them an excellent alternative to traditional limit switches in welding applications.

In addition, thanks to the use of a specially designed integrated circuit developed by Autonics, PRDAT / PRDAWT sensors are distinguished by the highest resistance to electromagnetic interference, which significantly increases their reliability in industrial conditions.

These models offer an extended detection zone, up to twice as large as standard sensors, which translates into greater design flexibility and easier installation in hard-to-reach places.

Key features of the PRDAT / PRDAWT series:

  • Extended detection range: 1.5 to 2 times greater than standard models
  • Resistance to weld spatter thanks to a durable PTFE coating
  • High interference immunity – thanks to a dedicated Autonics integrated circuit
  • Built-in safety features: overload, overvoltage and reverse polarity protection
  • LED status indicator for easy diagnostics and monitoring
  • IP67 protection rating – ensuring resistance to water and dust (in accordance with IEC standard)
  • Durability and reliability even in highly contaminated applications
  • Replacement for limit switches used in environments with elevated temperatures and splashes
