PRFA inductive sensors – resistance to extreme conditions and welding spatter

The PRFA series are cylindrical inductive sensors with increased durability, designed for use in environments exposed to welding spatter, high temperatures and mechanical contact. The housing and sensor face are made of durable 303 stainless steel, which provides excellent resistance to impact, wear and corrosion. In addition, the sensors are coated with PTFE (Teflon), which effectively protects against spatter adhesion and thermal damage.

PRFA sensors are ideal for use in the welding, chemical and food industries, as well as in environments with high levels of dust and oil contamination. Available in sizes from Ø8 to Ø30 mm, they can be easily integrated into a variety of working spaces.

Key features of PRFA:

  • Metal face (303 stainless steel) with a thickness of 0.8 mm – high mechanical resistance
  • PTFE (Teflon) coating – protection against splashes and high temperatures
  • Resistance to electromagnetic interference thanks to a dedicated integrated circuit
  • Built-in safety features: surge, overload and overcurrent protection
  • 360° LED indicator – quick visualisation of operating status (except PRFAT08-1.5DO-V)
  • Oil-resistant cable – increased durability in industrial environments
  • IP67 (IEC) protection rating – reliability in demanding applications
