Autonics BWP area sensors are lightweight and compact devices housed in a plastic enclosure, designed for limited installation space. Thanks to the interference prevention function – achieved by selecting the frequency of the emitted light – the sensors ensure stable operation even when several devices are operating side by side.
The narrow design (only 13 mm wide) and the use of a Fresnel lens enable precise detection in short and medium ranges. Bright LED indicators on the transmitter and receiver ensure good visibility of the status from all sides, and the short response time (up to 7 ms) enables a quick system response.
The BWP series sensors available from ELTRON come in 4 versions – with different numbers of beams (8–20) and a detection range from 140 to 380 mm. These models also offer switchable operating modes Light ON / Dark ON, continuous or flashing light, as well as a transmission stop function and a task indicator, which facilitates installation and diagnostics.
The PC/ABS housing ensures durability while maintaining low weight, and the IP40 protection rating makes these sensors ideal for indoor applications, such as office equipment, gate automation systems, transport or packaging systems.
