Autonics SPR1 single-phase thyristor power controllers – a compact solution with precise control, available at ELTRON

The SPR1 series are single-phase thyristor power controllers from Autonics, which, thanks to their narrow 55 mm housing, are ideal for installation in control cabinets and applications where installation space is limited. Despite their compact design, the devices offer extensive functionality and precise power control for a wide range of loads, such as heaters, radiators and heating devices.

Equipped with a clear LED display, the SPR1 controllers enable real-time monitoring of parameters such as control signal, load voltage and current, output power, resistance and heatsink temperature. Built-in phase, group and classic ON/OFF control functions, combined with feedback (constant current, voltage or power), allow for exceptionally stable and precise power control in industrial processes.

The devices are also available in versions with an RS485 interface and Modbus RTU protocol, enabling communication with PLC controllers and master systems. The parameters can be configured using the free DAQMaster software, which greatly facilitates integration and management of settings. SPR1 also offers advanced safety and alarm functions – overvoltage detection, heater disconnection, fuse interruption, heat sink overheating or diode (SCR) error.
