Varistar MIL series of cabinets was specially designed for the most demanding applications. These 19' ruggedised cabinets, validated as per MIL-S-901D, are used in conditions of frequent, strong shocks that may interfere or disturb the operation of electronic devices, especially on ships and military vehicles. Varistar MIL cabinets are made for faultless operation under extreme (including mobile) conditions. To increase the safety of devices inside the cabinet, 4 vibration absorbers are mounted on the reinforced base plate, and 2 more are located on the back of the upper part of the cabinet, providing the possibility to mount it to the wall. The rear panel is divided into three zones, the upper zone has a reinforced panel with dampers mounted on it, the middle zone has a standard panel, and the bottom zone has a stainless steel panel for cable entries. The top cover is made of a single steel plate, and doors are equipped with a robust locking mechanism. The frame and all steel elements are galvanised and powder-coated (RAL7032) to protect them against corrosion. The offer includes 2 types based on spring or elastomeric vibration absorbers. Varistar MIL cabinets are IP55 protected and EMC shielded.
