Cabinets of VARISTAR LHX 3 series are specially designed for high-heat applications where high reliability and consistency of working conditions and data readings is required. VARISTAR LHX 3 cabinet is based on a standard structure of VARISTAR cabinets, but it has high-performance cooling elements included in the ventilation system. The cabinet has an air/water heat exchanger located in the plinth under the cabinet base and fan in the top cover connected to the heat exchanger – by separating these elements, the forced cool air flow is directed from the heat exchanger to the top of the cabinet, evenly cooling all equipment mounted in the cabinet. In contrast, warm air, heated by heat generating equipment, accumulated in the upper part of the cabinet, is pushed outside the system by a fan in the top cover, to return, through special air ducts, and be cooled by a heat exchanger under the cabinet base. To improve the cooling speed and level, the cabinet can be ordered in a version with additional air and water heat exchanger mounted on the rear panel. Thanks to the “Heavy-Duty” support frame, the cabinet has a static load-carrying capacity of up to 800 kg. Cabinet dimensions (available only with glazed front doors) are: height: 34/38 U, width: 600 mm and depth: 800 mm. Cooling capacity of applied air and water heat exchanger is 3 kW at simultaneous very low noise level of 45 dB(A). Cabinets are only available in RAL7021. Degree of protection IP55.
